Happy Chinese New Year! The celebration of the Year of the Snake starts today and runs for fifteen days. The folks at Molly Woo’s Asian Bistro are kicking things off with a traditional Chinese Lion Dance at 4 p.m. today, and to include others in the overall celebrations, they’re providing a $25 giftcard to give away to my readers!
To enter, first take a look at the Molly Woo’s menu, and simply comment on this post (by 11:59 p.m. EST on Tuesday, February 12) by saying what you would order if you were going to celebrate the Chinese New Year there!

I’d get the Kung Pao Scallops. It’s hard for me to resist scallops especially with two of my favorite veggies: snow peas & scallops.
I’d start with the Poke followed by the Thai Seafood Medley.
Congrats, Mike! You’re the winner of the random draw! Please e-mail me your address at breakfastwithnick@gmail.com.
The potstickers and firecracker shrimp – Sam and I made our own Chinese New Years feast last year but this time around we got lazy. It would be fun to go to Molly Woos.
I’d get the honey chicken
I would order the Pot stickers and the Wor Su Gai. Love Molly Woo’s!
I’m a sucker for Molly’s War Sui Gai…
I would start with a Samurai Roll (or two) for the table to share, and then, for my main course I’d order the Pad Thai and see how it stacks up. I like to try it everywhere!
I would order the Kung Pao Scallops.
The duck fried rice looks amazing!
I would ‘special” order Dan Dan Noodles with Tofu. Yummy!!!
Thrilled to see War Sui Gai on Molly Woo’s menu! An Asian favorite that was created in Bexley, Ohio! Pot Stickers and Crab Rangoons are both tempting, so I’ll be sure to bring a friend or two so we can order both! Then, I’d kick it old school for the entree and get that War Sui Gai!
poke, mango chicken, and a banana spring roll
Definitely the duck fried rice! Yum!
Dan Dan Noodles sound so good to me!
Scoured the menu for a breakfast-fitting item, but the closest I got was the dessert spring roll. Can’t pass on that coconut shrimp.
I would order the steamed potstickers, lettuce cups, and Dan Dan noodles.
The orange beef or perhaps the Kung Pao Scallops…mmmm!
Wor Sui Gai as always, best in town
The go to place for family get togethers……their commitment to gluten free is important
The Pineapple Curry Shrimp sounds really good!
For Chinese New Year, I’m going to have some poke, hot & sour soup, and the miso marinated cod. Sounds delicious!
For me, it’ll have to be spring rolls and potstickers to start, followed by shrimp phad thai – can’t get enough of that wonderful stuff!
I think I would have to go with the pot stickers and then the firecracker shrimp. And maybe a side of Dan Dan noodles and then a really long nap.
Dan Dan Noodles followed up with some Firecracker Shrimp or Chicken…yummm! My wife was just thinking about how long time a time since she’s been there as well
Probably firecracker chicken, or orange peel beef with a Typhoon Tea for sure!
Pork Fried Rice ftw
Pot Stickers and Pineapple Chicken!
Sesame Chicken!
Hot & Sour Soup, Chicken Lettuce Cups and Dan Dan Noodles <3
Cata-cata-cata-cata-cata-cata-cata caterpillar rolls.
Would definately start with the Chicken Lettuce Cups, so simple but oh so good! After that, probably the Cashew Chicken or the Hunan Beef. Can’t go wrong with either one.
War Sui Gai FTW
Miso Marinated Cod!
I love the seafood! I would order the Ginger crusted Salmon & potstickers for a start!!!
